Requesting Deletion of Your Data or Account
Last Updated: July 2026
This page explains how to request deletion of your InfyNote account and the personal information associated with it, or deletion of some of that information without closing your account. It applies to the InfyNote platform and the InfyNote mobile app (Android and iOS).
How to request deletion
Email support@infynote.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line "Data deletion request". Tell us whether you want:
- Full account deletion — your user account and the personal information tied to it, or
- Partial deletion — deletion of specific personal information without closing your account (describe what you'd like removed).
We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request so that we only delete data for the correct account.
What gets deleted
For an account deletion request, we remove your user profile, login credentials, personal settings and preferences, and personal information stored with your individual account.
Organization-owned records (important)
InfyNote is used by organizations (for example, schools, clinics, and therapy providers). Records that an organization creates and manages in the Service — such as client/student records, notes, attendance, and reports — are owned and controlled by that organization, not by an individual staff user. If you are a staff member, viewer, or administrator and you want organization records changed or removed, please contact your organization's administrator. An organization may request deletion or export of its data by emailing support@infynote.com.
Timeline
We process verified deletion requests within 30 days and will confirm by email when the deletion is complete.
Data we may retain
We may retain limited information where we are required or permitted to do so — for example, records we must keep to meet legal, regulatory, tax, or compliance obligations (including applicable healthcare and education recordkeeping requirements), security and audit logs, and information needed to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements. Retained information is limited to what is necessary for those purposes.
